Drawing
Always an essential part of the artist's tool kit...
.....and no exception in my case.
My drawing is considered, at times representational, but always with a desire to reveal qualities and personal experiences. I use drawing as a means of thinking through designs (especially ceramic projects) but equally revel in the way it allows me to express what I see in front of me.
As a teacher of art over many years - it was always my focus to train others in the 'way of seeing'.
And how to translate what is observed onto a 2-dimensioanl plane. Looking is key!
